album is absolutely amazing, I can't believe K's Choice CDs aren't
available in England because they are one of the most unusual and
talented bands I have ever come across! There is something for everyone
within this album, whether your taste is loud (cocoon crash/hide) or
quiet (quiet little place/20,000 seconds) you will find something that
captures your soul! Poignant, funny, immensely talented music K's
Choice by all rights should be huge. Sarah Bettens has a gorgeous voice,
the songs are intelligently written and played beautifully. I brought
this CD after hearing 'Virgin State of Mind' on the fantastic Buffy CD,
and I now own all their albums. 'Cocoon Crash' is my favourite, it's
more upbeat than 'Amost Happy' (although I love 'Almost Happy' too).
Stand out tracks are 'Believe' - a belter of a song - and 'Hide' with
lyrics like 'Watch me, I'm coming closer, I am the mood you're in
tonight' it's dark but truely amazing. 'Everything For Free', 'Cocoon
Crash', 'Too Many Happy Faces' and 'Winners' are all great great songs,
in fact I'm hard pushed to find a track I dislike. What more can I say -
