James released his first solo effort in 1999, under the band name MullMuzzler and recorded a follow-up 2001 album under that moniker as well, before forming the James LaBrie band with keyboardist and long-time songwriting partner, Matt Guillory. The group released it's first effort, Elements Of Persuasion, in 2005 to high praise from the prog metal community and the band's newest disc, Static Impulse (released in September 2010), offers up a veritable smцrgеsbord of progressive-based extreme metal for you to feast your ears on.
