This album is my favorite from this performer. There is so much
personality to this record. The title track kicks things off with a
smooth, melodic flow and the journey begins. Hughes' voice is
unbelievable and he is one of the most underappreciated rock talents of
all time. There are some rockers on here as well. Great album.

America disappeared from the recording scene after"PERSPECTIVE" in
1984 which was a big blow for me.The group had provided a steady flow
of excellent albums since 1972 of which I'm lucky enough to own all.I
was absolutely delighted when"HOURGLASS" made the scene ten years later
and now we are blessed with this, their latest album "HUMAN NATURE".A
great album which provides strong songs from both Gerry and Dewey. The
track "Wednesday Morning" is particularly strong with pleasant
characteristics from their early recordings.Other stand-out tracks

THE
LATEST IS THEIR GREATEST
Cheap Trick has outdone themselves on
their latest recording "The Latest." At times criticized for being a
"fun" band without substance, Cheap Trick proves to the critics and
naysayers that they are capable of producing exceptional pieces of deep,
meaningful music- while still rocking out as much if not better than
the numerous younger bands they've influenced along the way. "The
Latest" is certain to become a classic in the Cheap Trick canon, without
a doubt one of the best things they've ever done.

LYNYRD
SKYNYRD'S new release "God and Guns" is their first album of new
material in over 6 years, and after listening to it in its' entirety, I
now believe it just may be the first album of really "new" material to
come out of a classic Rock and Roll act since the early 1980's.
Every song on this CD stands alone - I'm serious - there are no duds, no
clunkers, no fillers - it is amazing from the opening riff to the

I'd heard a couple of tracks from this guitar
slinger and, reading the reviews stating "better than Bonamassa"
"almost as good as Bonamassa", well, I thought it would be worth a less
than £10 flutter to see whether or not the guy is as good as claimed -
and is he? You betcha! Forget the comparison with JB or SRV, just
listen to this guy and take it all in. He can rock with the best of the
current crop -witness: ARE YOU READY - great hook that'll get into your
brain and stay there! - and on the 7 minutes plu

While
the music contained on this album might not be some of Quo's best, my
review is mainly for the remastering and sonic quality. The only people
on the planet who will ever read this, are you, the Status Quo fan. You
already know all about the music. This review goes out to "you all", the
Status Quo "fanatics", who are contemplating dropping some cash on this
purchase. Do it!! Tim Turan has done a fabulous job with all these
remasters and "RAOTW" might be the crowning jewel of the lot. Like I
mentioned earlier, musically "

Why these guys never made it big in the U.S., I'll never
know...This album is proof positive that the Quo can rock as hard as
anybody you care to name. Down Down, Little Lady, and their blistering
cover of Chuck Berry's Bye Bye Johnny will melt your speakers!! Nice
sonic upgrade from what I am sure were not the greatest tapes to begin
with...This is the last of the "raw power" Quo discs; after a muddy live
album they brought in outside producers a

Small World was another platinum hit for Huey Lewis & the
News, but the album was noticeably weaker than their previous three
records. Lewis tries to position himself as a socially conscious rocker
-- no less than three tracks have the word "world" in their title --
writing songs about the perilous state of the environment and urging
everybody to live together peacefully, since "there ain't no livin' in a
perfect world." Such sanctimonious and s
