Between
1982 and 1984, Lou Reed put together the best band of his solo career,
recorded three superb albums, and left behind a fine live double after
two rapturously received world tours — not a bad track record from a
guy who had been so inconsistent throughout the 1970s. One might well
have argued that Lou was due for a disappointment, and Mistrial
certainly filled that bill. On Mistrial, Reed opted to handle both lead
and rhythm guitar parts as he had on New Sensations, but wit

It
has been 7 years since the last original work by Chris Issak, and I
have been waiting for this release like it was Christmas Day.
First off the two guests singers are long time Chris Issak friends
(both were guests on his show) and their duets were well done and
seemed like a natural pairing. These are my two favorite songs
and Breaking Apart which is a remake is better than the original. I
really liked Michele Branch's duet it was almost like the song was
written for her.

Review:
Although the Sensational Alex Harvey Band showed off plenty of sonic
firepower on studio outings like Next and Tomorrow Belongs To Me, they
were always at their most ferocious in the concert arena. As a result,
Live is an especially rousing and engaging addition to the group's
catalog. Since the set list is almost entirely composed of time-tested
favorites, it also one of their most consistent albums. The album's
contents are taken from a single night's performance at the Hammersmi

This is another great album in the long line of great albums by Wishbone Ash.
For a band that has been through many changes over the years they just
keep on putting out quality material, thanks to the great Andy Powell.
For those who have not kept up with these guys Andy is the glue that
has kept it all together, he is the one who has never left. Both Martin
and Ted Turner (not related by the way) have come and gone and c

was the 14th album for British rock group Uriah Heep. It was the first
album without keyboardist Ken Hensley. The album was
critically-acclaimed and fairly commercially successful album due, in
part, to the band retooling and updating their sound to a contemporary
heavy metal style. It featured their last U.S. hits, "On the Rebound"
and "That's the Way That It Is". The latter is th

Perhaps only the fantasy duo of King Kong and Bambi could be a more
bizarre pairing than Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. Yet on Raising
Sand, their haunting and brilliant collaboration, the Led Zeppelin
screamer and Nashville's most hypnotic song whisperer seem made for
each other. This, however, is not the howling Plant of "Whole Lotta
Love," but a far more precise and softer singer than even the one who
emerged with Dreamland (2002). No matter that Plant seems so subdued as
to be on downers, for that's one of the keys to this most improbable
meeting of musical galaxies--almost all of it seems slowed down, out of
time, otherworldly, and at times downright David Lynch-ian, the product
of an altered consciousness. Yet probably the main

Never
Let Me Down is an album by David Bowie, released April 1987. It drew
some of the harshest criticism of Bowie's career, condemned by critics
as a faceless piece of product and ignored by the public — Bowie
himself said that the album featured good songwriting that was ruined
by overly commercial and dull production. However, it featured more of
Bowie's own compositions than its predecessor, Tonight.
